United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Country Director Renaud Meyer visits the Ilocos Norte Capitol May 29 to give a talk on Localizing the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and to discuss the HIV situation in the Philippines with development stakeholders and government officials in the province.
According to Meyer, Ilocos Norte is going up in terms of attaining the MDGs in the province. He praised the localization efforts and initiatives of the province, especially its education and livelihood programs through it’s own Provincial MDG Office
